The SK Hand Tools 12-Piece Torx Plus Bit Socket Set features SK's high-polish SuperKrome finish for long life and corrosion resistance. Torx Plus bit sockets are designed for use on new fasteners found on today's vehicles in interior, trim, and dashboard applications. The increased surface area of the new Torx Plus fastener pattern allows 25-percent more torque on the fastener. Each socket is designed with a through-hole construction to make it easier to replace worn or broken bits; simply pop the old bit out and insert a new replacement bit. Each socket has a c-clip retention groove in the hex end to provide a secure hold on the bit while in use. The bits are manufactured using high-strength S2 steel for reliable longevity, making this socket set the ideal choice for use in high-torque applications with a ratchet, T-handle, or spinner handle. With the help of an extension or universal joint, the bits can be used in awkward and tight spaces. Each socket is also individually labeled with an engraved size marker for easy reference and the entire set comes with a storage rail for easy storage.
